This page also contains some of the unpublished papers of Monsignor O'Flaherty.Patrick Daniel O'Flaherty, son of John and Brigid O'Flaherty
was horn February 9, 1914, in New York City. He attended Cathedral Preparatory
School, New York City and was graduated in 1933. He entered St. Joseph's Seminary, Yonkers, New York, and
received the degree of Bachelor of Arts in 1937. He was accepted as a graduate student in the Graduate School
of Arts and Sciences of Fordham University where he received the degree of
Master of Arts in June 1952.In October, 1959 he began work for the degree of Doctor of
Philosophy at Fordham University Graduate School under the mentorship of
Professor Vincent Hopkins, S. J.His Doctoral Dissertation was on the history of the
Sixty-Ninth Regiment. He wrote many articles about the history of the Regiment, many
were unpublished. Some of his works are presented here. They are referenced by his name following the file.
